Delicious Peanut Butter & Almond Granola

This recipe for a delicious and filling PB & almond granola is filled with goodness, and serves as a more filling replacement for cereal!
I.LOVE.GRANOLA. And this baby right here is my current obsession! I love playing with different granola recipes and I'm super stoked with how this turned out!
-2 cups whole rolled oats
-6TBSP unsweetened peanut butter
-1/4 cup flax seeds
-1/2 cup almonds
-2TBSP fat/oil (butter, coconut oil, olive oil)
-1 egg white (optional)
Pre-Heat oven to 300F
Okay, so the thing I love most about making granola is that its simple & you can basically use whatever ingredients you want! That's why I thought it would be the perfect first thing to make in our new apartment after moving! Throw all your dry ingredients into a bowl and give it a quick stir.
Next, melt your oil if need be. Like I said, we had just moved so I used butter, which was just what I had on hand. I popped it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds, then added it to the bowl of dry ingredients. Next, painstakingly add all 6 tablespoons of peanut butter......or if you like to live life on the edge, just guess, dump some in there, HAVE AT IT!
The last step is to add your egg white. The egg white is optional but this is what will give you a more clumpy granola, which is what I wanted because I planned to use this as a cereal! Now give everything a mix and make sure everything is evenly combined!
Spray a cooking sheet with nonstick spray (or cover with parchment paper) and spread granola into an even layer. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Then let your granola cool and store it in an airtight container like these!
My favorite way to enjoy this granola is cereal style! In a bowl, filled with milk, and topped with some banana!
